About Me!
Hi, I am Rachel Brandon. I am a 20 year old born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Three years ago, I decided to attend the University of Oklahoma. In my first semester I changed my major three times before finally deciding to major in Public Relations and minor in Communication. I am a member of Alpha Chi Omega, but off campus I am a waitress at a burger bar. Outside of school and work, I have a busy social life and many hobbies.
Why Start A Blog?
When I was younger, I always excelled in my English and History classes. Writing assignments were always my favorite and my obsession with the Harry Potter series made me want to write my own book. I no longer want to be an author, but I love reading. I find myself getting lost in books and losing track of time. I have many hobbies outside of reading as well. I love practicing yoga, crocheting, journaling, scrapbooking and watercolor. I am also interested in fashion, food and event planning.
I have been interested in starting a blog for over a year. In one of my PR courses in the fall 2025 semester, I was assigned four blog posts. These were my favorite assignments and I worked hard on them. I already wanted to start a blog and these assignments inspired me even more. At the end of the semester, my professor encouraged us to keep making blog posts and keep creating things we wanted to. After over a year of wanting to start a blog, I finally am.
